Forget traditional lessons if you want to know how to play keyboard the quickest, easiest, and most enjoyable way possible.
Old school (traditional) lessons begin with learning notes, sight reading music, and practicing scales. This is what most people imagine when they think of learning how to play keyboard. It is a classical way of teaching. But it is not the only way. If you have a lot of time and a ton of dedication, you can begin there. However, it’s not what I would recommend.

Beginners can get started in a much more efficient and enjoyable way. Is this some kind of “miracle method?” Well, not really, but it does get students playing favorite songs very quickly. It even helps you make up your own songs because you understand how music is constructed. This new method doesn’t have a formal name, but it does have a focus: chords and rhythm patterns.
Chords and rhythm patterns are the building blocks of music. You know how a “blues” song has a certain feel to it. You may not know why, but you can certainly know right away that heavy metal and blues are very different kinds of music. Each type of music has it’s own familiar chord progressions and rhythm patterns which make it sound distinct.
By learning chords and rhythm patterns, you will be learning the language of music. You will be flexible enough to play a wide variety of songs. Once you know this language, you can also take off with your own musical ideas and improvisations much more easily.
Learn how to play keyboard with this new method, and you will see very rapid progress. Both children and adults alike achieve a sense of satisfaction which builds confidence. You are much more likely to continue and progress as you have these early successes.

I’m very interesting with your method. My daughter seems very lazy to learn playing keyboard. I hope when I pratice your method, she will enjoy it.
She can start playing simple songs pretty quickly with this method, so the chances of her enjoying it are pretty high. It is also much easier to progress to more elaborate songs to keep her interest.
